Construction of a wine storage and export distribution depot.

NMC took possession of the 75, 000m² site on 16 March 2009 – commencing with civil and demolition works. This new facility for SACD, a member of the Bidvest Group, comprises of comprised a 20, 000m² warehouse and 900m² warehouse.

The modern design by Cape based Glen Loudon Architects in Association with Perry+Anderson incorporates a curved roof with large glass facades made up of special glazing high performance glass. The warehouse has a clear height of 10m peaking at 14m, with a Category 1 floor. Construction of the project, constructed within the NMC Alliance, was fast tracked by 4 months.
