Old Mutual Green’s Cool
Construction of a new day care centre for old mutual employees at old mutual head office, Pinelands.
This new single story facility provides day care for the children of all Old Mutual employees. The facility is located at the west end of the Old Mutual playing fields and blends in to the surroundings with a beautiful secure play area surrounding the low level buildings.
The design of this 2,800m² facility incorporates many green building design elements, this includes a solar water heating system, maximum use of natural light, and a water recycling system where tap water is recycled for flushing of the toilets.
