NMC has embarked on an extensive culture campaign which enjoys strong support from leadership at all levels. The NMC culture derived from its people through a process of Coaching and vision workshops involving all its employees and embraces the values of pride, ubuntu, relationships trust and balance.
These values, as depicted in the NMC Culture Wheel, are aligned with NMC’s growth strategy and compliment the company’s ethos of “building trust” and “setting the construction standard”. in alignment with its growth strategy.
Coaching is used as a platform for open communication between employees of different levels, employees are encouraged to challenge management and traditional methods of the past, free up their thinking and fully participate in the company’s development and growth.
NMC coaching has recently been restructured, coaching groups of 10 have been reduced to groups of 4-6 giving the opportunity for meaningful conversations. Since its inception the focus has moved from personal development and growth, to building a company culture into living the culture within the context of building trust, setting the construction standard and the company vision.
