The Galton Gate project comprised of the construction of 37 staff houses, offices, an administration building, a conference hall with kitchen and ablution facilities. The civils works included the widening of the road intersection, tarring of park entrance, installation of a reverse osmosis plant and construction of an evaporation pond, garbage disposal and Leechate tank.

The Environmental Management Plan for the Galton Gate project at Etosha National Park was selected by the Millennium Challenge Account (Namibia) as their compact’s, environmental and social success story.
